"Ya I remember this image...

We had our television set... which was a big deal for a hard-working family in a working class family to finally have an automobile and a television. It was an amazing thing. Many kids in the neighborhood didn't have either or both.

And I was wondering about the purpose of Life as a child. Looking at family values...

Hearing John F. Kennedy's speech which we've heard many times about the space program.

And I was wondering about the purpose of mankind, the family of mankind.

And when I saw these rockets launching into space, these American rockets with their American flag painted on the side. I sensed something... greater than Life itself... something immortal...

I sensed GOD.

The Destiny of GOD for Mankind.

It's an amazing feeling... it really inspired me.

I must say, it was a profound religious experience.

And I believe that all men and women who can reconnect and rekindle this feeling of potential Greatness will access the Domain of GOD Almighty which is Eternal. The Reality of GOD Almighty which is Infinite Potential.

I felt, when I saw that space rocket launching into space... I could feel that there was Divine energy behind it.

It was not a mission of mortal men, but of immortal men.

It was mankind's immortality expressing itself.

So when we look at this myth, this Greek myth, which I knew for a very long time, what were the two?

A: Icarus and...

The father and son team, the inventors, who in Greek mythology invented flight. By taking the feathers of birds and using wax to glue them together. And then they tried them out like the Wright Brothers and flew through the sky.

And it was a Glorious feeling this feeling of flight.

And the father, being the more responsible one, was more conservative in his test-pilot phase of this new experiment. But the son, driven by his spiritual aspirations, went much higher and he came very close to the Sun which was emanating so much heat in the mythology, the mythological account.

And the wax started to melt and then he fell into the sea. And was lost.

... this is the nature of the human Spirit to aspire to Greatness. Pushing the envelope of mankind's mortality.

And in the myth what was happening is mankind was pushing the envelope of mortality and attempting to reach the Sun which symbolizes immortality. The Sun symbolizes GOD the Eternal.

Mankind is the vehicle of potentiality moving forward, moving up. Evolving, developing, innovatively reaching for this goal of immortality.

And I could feel, as the space craft was launching from the launch pad, I could feel this energy of potential immortality in mankind. All mankind.

And America was leading this quest. My whole Spirit was invigorated by this.

And then there were things that happened, which seemed to quench this inspiration.

My heroes fell from the skies into the ocean and were quenched and swallowed up.

That's when cynicism began.

Where we no longer believed in our immortality, our Greatness, our potentiality.

And I've been suffering as every person in the world has been suffering. This feeling of, these late sixties, mid-sixties - late sixties, this feeling of mourning our loss... of our potential immortality to accomplish anything we put our mind to.

Somehow we're behaving like the father who survived and thinks: "Well we can't try anything anymore. We can't go beyond our limits any more because we know what happened last time. Last time the younger member of the two-man-team wanted to go beyond the Sun and to conquer the stars."

Now we're still traumatized by things such as the Space Shuttle exploding on live international television.

We're traumatized by our momentary failure to reach immortality.

And the difficult reality that we face that we're still in the process of becoming.

We haven't attained immortality. We're in the process of attaining it. And so even though we have learned from the past we're in the process of sending out a new generation willing to push the envelope, willing to dare to pick up the torch of our fallen heroes and attempt again the impossible.

To go beyond the limitations of conventional wisdom and go to unconventional Greatness.

So this speech last night at the Republican Convention in New York of Governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger was a confirmation of the courage to take those risks, to take those chances, to go beyond the conventional wisdom of tradition and dare to go for the stars.

You see, this is a Spiritual quest of mankind... we have this quality in each of us. And when our living breathing heroes express the courage to claim the right to go for these stars, it inspires all of us, it inspires everyone, not just Republican or Democrat, not just Americans, but everyone on the face of this earth.

We are unified in this common purpose to excel beyond our limitations and to achieve that which conventional wisdom says is impossible.

And this is the American Dream becoming the American Reality.

Is when the human Spirit triumphs over all limitating factors.

Because the human Spirit is the most Glorious Manifestation in Creation.

It is the human Spirit which makes us a Glorious Being.

It is the human Spirit which lights the way.

It is the human Spirit which is the Torch of the Olympic Spirit.

We are Great and we're going to prove it by taking it to the stars.

We're going further than common wisdom expects us to go.

We have broken the chains of our doubts of our worries.

We are now Free to fly again.

And it is men and women like Arnold Schwarzenegger and the first lady, Mrs. Bush and others who confirm and affirm the True Nature of the American Spirit and the human Spirit.

This is why we are all inspired, because we are more when people like this tell us the Truth about our natures. We become affirmed in what we are.

Mankind is on a journey. We don't know where this journey is leading us. All we know is, it requires courage to even attempt this journey.

No primate in his right mind would leave the trees to go explore the stars. But we're doing it. Driven by an insatiable desire to know what's out there.

To know what we're capable of.

To know how far we can go.

We need to go beyond these limits and GOD has blessed us with the Spiritual capacities to fulfill our greatest ambitions.

And this is what inspired me last night when I heard the speeches particularly of Governor Schwarzenegger...

That the human Spirit is BACK.

The human Spirit is BACK.

The instrument of our Glorification is BACK.

So now we're going to see a lot of things... a lot of Miracles that the nay-sayers say that's not possible: "You can't do this, you can't do that."

All of a sudden... all the crooked roads are going to be made straight.

And mankind is going to go forward to discover his Glorification.

GOD Bless all the people on their journey of discovery.
