The Glorified Life

glorified.gif:

(Transcript: September 16, 2004)

"There are so many men and women who want to live the Glorified Life.

They want to feel in the deepest recesses of their Souls that they are living the Fulfilled Life.

They are seeking a way to enter the Sphere of the Glorified Person.

And they go to their Churches, they go to their Temples, they go to their PTA meetings, they go to all sorts of places in search of the answers.

And always they feel they haven't quite got the Golden Medal of Discovery of what it means to be a Glorified Person.

I don't know about you but for me as a young person growing up... the pillars of society in my life were those individuals who I experienced as having a profound sense of moral fortitude.

They became the pillars of my Holy Temple of Worship for what is Great in Humanity.

They were the uncles and the aunts, the neighbors, the people in the community sitting on the councils the local councils who emanated this sense, this moral sense.

Whenever one was near them one knew which way north was on their moral compass.

There was no confusion.

Things were black and white.

One knew where they stood.

It doesn't matter what topic you heard or began to speak about you knew where they stood on the matter.

It was an amazing thing to experience.

And they impressed me. They made a positive impression on me.

They are not perfect.

Human beings make mistakes.

Sometimes they believed things that later proved to be not exactly what they believed.

They didn't like it but they admitted it that they were wrong.

And this is what I'm missing today.

This is what I miss most.

Is sitting down with a person and talking to them about things and knowing where they stand.

Arguing intensely about issues but respecting each other for the integrity with which one held those beliefs.

That's what I miss.

And that's what I want to see again.

Is this strength of character.

Of personality.

People who dare to do what they believe is right regardless if other people agree.

For instance this Ralph Nader is an example of moral fortitude which I have admired for a very many years.

He is a simple man.

An unpretentious man.

Some would even dare to say an un-Glorified man.

Because he doesn't have all the outer manifestations of Wealth and Glory.

The big car, the big apartment, the big bank account.

He's a modest man.

His integrity is very Great.

So he enters a process what we call the American political process for his candidacy in many states to be President.

And many people say: "why should the man bother."

"He won't be President anyway because the cake has already been divided between two main parties."

"What's the point?"

Well that's what they kept telling Abraham Lincoln.

They said: "Abraham what's the point?"

"Honest Abe what's the point?"

"You're never going to be President."

"Why go through the process?"

And he would attempt and he would fail and attempt and fail and he kept at it.

Because Abraham Lincoln was also a modest man.

An unpretentious man.

Coming from a simple hard-working background.

Honest to the core.

They didn't call him Honest Abe for nothing.

So when you have these people who engage in the process because their moral essence their character says that they should do it we should admire them for what they demonstrate.

They demonstrate all that is Good in Mankind.

So the fact that Ralph Nader is participating in the political process is a demonstration that American character is Good.

And it should be applauded and welcomed.

See I don't believe that a Great nation like America should diminish itself in terms of rationalizing what is appropriate, what is inappropriate, based on some streamlined processes.

I believe much more that the driving force of such a Great nation HAS always been and WILL always be the initiative of individuals acting on their Good character.

And through this action providing others with a positive role model.

You see Ralph Nader would never have pulled an Enron, Ralph Nader would never have pulled a WorldCom, he would not have pulled an Anderson.

There are too few Ralph Naders.

And too many Enrons WorldComs and Andersons.

Now we have to get back to where we came from.

The fundamental decency of the American Spirit and the American character.

It's not whether you win or lose. It's about how you play the game.

Character counts.

The fact that he's running, he's going through the process, the difficult process, it gives me inspiration.

He's an Inspirational Light for me personally as an individual.

Ralph Nader going through the process, the humble process of officially meeting the requirements to go into the election.

Mobilizing the Good Will and Assistance of the American People in a process that they believe in.

This is what makes the nation Great.

This is fundamental Greatness.

So when I remember my childhood I remember individuals who had the right stuff, who were tough as nails who did what they thought was right.

It left an impression on me and assisted me in the development of my own character.

And it reminds me of that movie Field of dreams where the climax of the movie is reached.

Where the father of this young family has to decide between the Archetypal and the personal needs.

And then the conscience the moral conscience speaks and says:

"TRUST IT RAY. . ."

"THEY WILL COME RAY. . ."

And then they say that this represents everything that once was Great in the country and could be again.

The Archetypal Potential of rediscovering one's Greatness if one has the courage to dare to believe.

The human Spirit is an invincible factor in the equation of human existence, human development.

And the Archetype is the Process of Manifestation of the human Spirit and the larger Spirit.

The Archetypal Language is a Real Language.

It is a Divine Language the Language of God Almighty.

And when It speaks one should listen.

Because It speaks...

With the combined Power of All of the Energy and Authority...

That drives Existence Itself.

Thank you."
